The pousada can be reached by bus (each hour) from Santarém. Take the bus to Cucuruna, get off at the road to Santa Luzia (just after São Braz) and walk about 1.5 km. Anyone around can tell you exactly where to go. Renatur, a tour-agency in Santarém, can arrange transport by car as well. Santarém can be reached by air or boat from Manaus or Belém, or by bus from Cuiába or Altamira.
